Comparison
NexTick360 vs BoostYourCharts Journal
A Sierra Chart-native journal with live sync, statistics regression-tested against Sierra Chart's own output, and a genuinely clever rule-replay tool. If you live in Sierra Chart, it is built closer to your platform than anything else.
We are a different shape of product, not a better version of the same one. Below is where each of us fits, written so that someone who already uses BoostYourCharts Journal would recognise it.
The short answer
Choose BoostYourCharts Journal if
- You trade in Sierra Chart and intend to keep doing so — the whole product assumes it
- You want your statistics to reconcile to the decimal against Sierra Chart's own Trade Statistics output
- You want to reopen a trade on your own Sierra Chart layout in one click
- Price is the deciding factor — they are a fraction of ours and the product is honest about what it is
Choose NexTick360 if
- You do not trade in Sierra Chart, or might not always
- You are on a prop evaluation and want the firm's actual rules in the product
- You want the habits costing you money found without setting a rule for each one first
- You want your strategy graded automatically rather than tagged by hand
The difference that decides it
What it can see, and what it asks of you
Everything in their product requires you to know what to look for first. You choose the rule the What-If Lab replays; you set the guardrail that alerts you; you tag the mistake that gets costed. It is an excellent instrument and it measures precisely. It does not tell you anything you did not ask it. That is the difference, and it is worth being clear-eyed about the price gap it has to justify.
Side by side
What each product does, rather than a score. Everything in the BoostYourCharts Journal column comes from their own pages.

Bringing your history with you
Export the Trade Activity Log from Sierra Chart and import it. Duplicates are matched on content, so re-importing never doubles anything.
Orders and fills come in. Nothing goes back. It cannot place, modify, cancel or route an order — not as a policy, the capability does not exist in the software.
Fourteen days is enough to find out
Import your history and the engine has something to read immediately. If it finds nothing worth knowing about you, do not pay us.
